Some days..  okay pretty much everyday when I get down, you always are the one to make me smile. Dawsen, you are the funniest, spunkiest kid I have ever met. People are attracted to you already. Everyone always  wants to be around and all you older cousins want to play with you. Its crazy how much you shine, and trust me you shine. 

Tonight you really wanted to sleep in my bed. Well Daddy said he was okay to sleep in your bed than. All you said was " night night, Daddy." I was laughing so hard. You sure know how to make people smile dawsy!

Dearest Dawsen,

I have not written on this blog in over a year. I want to be better and write more. I want this to be more a blog just to you. To show you how much I love you. I am going to write often and post pictures of things we do and things u say.

Dawsen, you are the funniest boy! You make everyone so happy and you are ALL boy. You just want to play football all day long and watch football. Its Hilarious.

I will write more soon, my sweet son!

Half way to 1

I can not BELIEVE that Dawsen is almost 7 months old. It seems that by far this last month he has grown and developed the most.

He has two teeth!

He can almost crawl!

He can hold his own bottle!

He loves to play with Cooper!
I am so proud of my baby boy or as Daddy would say CHUM-BA-WUM-BA!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I tried to be “artistic” and take some Christmas pictures of Dawsen. I used my IPhone so they are not the best quality but they sure are cute…

He sure just brings a smile to my face.

Lately, I have noticed how alert he has been and how interested he has been in our dog Copper. He absolutely loves when Copper will come up and lick his hands and especially loves when Copper licks his face. He just takes it and giggle, giggle, giggles.

Temple Lights

Last evening Jake came home from work and decided we should go to the temple lights. I was all for it but I was not going to be cold, so I bundled Dawsen and I up. So we headed off to the temple. As soon as we got there Dawsen could not stop staring. He loved the lights. We walked around the building once, then I was worried he was getting cold so we went inside the visiting center and went through this awesome display about families.

I was bawling through the whole thing, but the one concept I really took out of it was that families were put together to make us happy. HAPPY is exactly what I feel when I spend time with Dawsen. He is CONSTANTLY making me smile and laugh.

I am not sure what he is doing but he has been making that face a lot lately. I think it is absolutely the cutest thing ever.

Back to the temple lights… So we all; Jake, Dawsen and I went to the temple last evening and Dawsen loved it.

The AFTER we went to Los Batos and got SUPER NACHOES…& a Coke!

YUM!

It was a lot of fun. I love the holiday season because there is so much fun stuff to do.

“Never Grow Up”

Its hard to look back on all these old pictures and see how little Dawsen was. I cry every time I watch this video. Its fun to see how much his looks are changing and it is fun to see how much he is growing and learning. BUT I honestly, never want him to grow up! I don’t want him to ever be hurt and I don’t want anyone to ever make him cry. I want to always protect him and I want him to always smile. I want him to stay sweet and innocent for forever. I know he must grow up though, I just want him to never hurt or better yet, I want him to never hurt anyone else. Dawsen is such a special little spirit I can see it in the way he smiles at everyone who talks to him, and the way his eyes glow. I know he is always going be such a good person! I am blessed beyond measure to have this little boy in my life. I know that Heavenly Father gave me this spirit to be in my life at this time. He really is the reason why I wake up each day, and the reason why I smile. I love my son very much and I just wish he could just stay this little!

4 months old and growing fast!!

I wanted to start this blog a long time ago. I wanted to write each week and put all the new things that Dawsen is doing and all the new things he is learning. That didn't really happen. So NOW Dawsen is 4 months old and I have nothing written down about his progress. SOOO I decided I am going to just start from right now. Here and there I will put up pictures of the last four months and memories but for right now I need to just pick up from here or else I will get discouraged and this blog will never happen!

Dawsen is a little over 4 months old! I really can not believe that 4 months ago my little prince was born!!

 From the moment he came into our lives he was perfect. He is the sweetest, most well behaved baby that I have ever met! He has been such a good sleeper, at 12 weeks old sleeping through the night. He has been the smilest baby I have ever seen and he is calmest baby. Eveyone tells me what a good baby Dawsen is.  I am so very lucky!

NOW, like I said DAWSEN is 4 months old! He has been growing left and right and he is learning so much!
Last doctors visit (which was just 10 days ago) Dawsen was measured like at all his appointments. His measurements were:

WEIGHT: 14.12 lbs (50%)

HEIGHT: 26 3/4 in. (98%)

HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE: 16 1/4 in (50%)

Obviously he is VERY VERY long! I have huge hopes and dreams that one day he will play in the NBA. :)

At the last visit with the doctor, he told me that I can start feeding Daws rice ceral and move onto other baby foods. I was so excited I went out right away and got some food for him!! NO SUPRISE that Dawsen was a natural at eating. We had not problems at all. It has been like I said a little over a week that he has been eating cerals and now he moved on sweet potatoes and squash. He loves it.

The worst part about him eating new foods is that his diapers are absolutely STINKY!! Good thing I love him!

I do I love my Dawsen boy with all my heart and even though life has given us some pretty hard things to deal with right now and even though we arent in the most ideal situation. I know that we are going to be okay. He is such a happy and easy baby and I know that my Heavenly Father sent him to me for a reason. I am very lucky to have Dawsen and I will keep this blog up to day with all the fun things that we do in the future!!
